Traditionally, people only get hotel rooms when they travel. But when it came to promoting a Valentine’s Day hotel offer for Expedia, we wanted to broaden our reach by inspiring lovebirds -not just travelers- “to get a room.”
On Valentine’s Day it’s tough to go a few blocks without seeing some sort of public display of affection. So we took the idea of telling people to “get a room” and turned it into “get a room…with Expedia.” We created a simple broadcast spot ran around the world featuring real couples making out to promote a $50 off hotel promo for the holiday.
